At Live the word Ministries, community equals church. We believe that the function of the church is to serve in our local communities. We strive to be a church that is active in building, uplifting and empowering people to find their God given purpose here on earth.

FOOD DISTRIBUTION

  • We distribute close to 1 ton of food every month to various NPO's

  • The church supports Home churches with feeding schemes

  • More than 50 food vouchers are distributed monthly to the homeless and less fortunate 

Wayside sunday school

Our children is the future, hence we invest lots of time and resources to ensure the word gets to those who cannot afford to travel to church

Social / Youth Program 

We are a relevant church who believes that social interaction is important. We arrange hikes, walks and other social gatherings to engage our youth, Adults and seniors. 

Skills upliftment
project

We have various skills upliftment programs such as Business & entrepreneurial workshops, senior citizen care, Discipleship classes and life coaching.

Spiritual / Social upliftment

"ME n U" is an independent NPO, caring for boys and girls in informal settlements with challenges like child labour, emotional and physical abuse, school focus and poverty amongst other. With Christ as the foundation, these young people learn that God has a plan for their lives

HOW YOU CAN HELP AT CHURCH 

  1. Welcome people as they come in and help them find where they need to go

  2. Volunteer in the church nursery

  3. Provide a ride for people who can’t drive (children, elderly, disabled, etc)
